How it finds links and titles
Every http:// and https:// address in the text is picked up, plus addresses without a scheme if you tick that option. Punctuation that ends a sentence is trimmed, while brackets that belong to the URL, as in Wikipedia links, are kept.
- Titles come from Markdown links
[title](url), HTML anchors, or the words next to a single link on a line, such asPortfolio - https://…. - Duplicates can be matched loosely, so
http://www.example.com/a/andhttps://example.com/acount as one link. The first title found is kept. - Output is escaped for each format: brackets in Markdown, quotes and ampersands in HTML, commas and quotes in CSV. Cells starting with = + - or @ get a leading apostrophe so spreadsheets do not run them as formulas.

Converter questions
Does it fetch page titles from the web?
No. Titles come only from the text you paste, so nothing is requested from the sites in your list. Links without a title use the domain and path, the domain or the full URL, as you choose.
Which links are left out?
Anything that is not a web address with a real domain: mailto: and javascript: links, local paths, and addresses with a user name or password in them.
Is there a limit on how much I can paste?
Only your device's memory. Thousands of links convert instantly, and nothing leaves your browser.
